  • Current clear drivers license

  • CDL (commercial drivers license) is not required but is a plus

Daytona International Speedway is the home of “The Great American Race” – the Daytona 500. The season-opening NASCAR Sprint Cup event garners the largest audience in motorsports. The enormous 480 motorsports complex is in the middle of a massive $400 million renovation called DAYTONA Rising. Once DAYTONA Rising is complete in January 2016 it will be host to the only Stadium Experience in racing! Daytona International Speedway is currently looking for motivated and outgoing crew that will deliver the best experience in motorsports!

Stadium Crew Chief:
Stadium Crew Chief is an important part of the DAYTONA Rising Stadium Experience. As the Stadium Crew Chief you will oversee the Injector Supervisors, Crew Leads and Stadium Fan Crew. This role is vital in delivering the ultimate Guest Services experience.

Shift Length: 12 hours
 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in hiring of Injector Supervisors, Crew Leads and Stadium Fan Crew
  • Assist in scheduling of the Injector Supervisors, Crew Leads and Stadium Fan Crew
  • Assist in training off all stadium staff
  • Assist in payroll after each event
  • Oversee and supervise stadium staff
  • Assist in the day-to-day duties in the guest services offices

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Experience as a manager or supervisor required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in the changing weather
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays as assigned

Stadium Crew Chief is a seasonal/temporary event based position. However, this position will require non-event day shifts. Shifts and hours will vary depending on specific event needs.

Additionally, Crew Chief will assist with the following:

  • Hiring Supervisors, Crew Leads, Infield Fan Crew, and Admissions Fan Crew
  • Training all Admissions staff
  • Scheduling all Admissions staff
  • Payroll after each event
  • Day-to-day operations in the Guest Services Office
     

The position contributes to the efficiency and effectiveness of activities at Daytona International Speedway and its ability to deliver consistently high quality service to every Guest.

Facility Operations/Security: Game Day/Event Staff
Florida Certified Firefighter/EMT or Firefighter/Paramedic- Event/Seasonal - Daytona International Speedway (Daytona Beach, FL)

 

 

 

 

 

Daytona International Speedway is the home of "The Great American Race" - the Daytona 500. Though the season-opening NASCAR Sprint Cup event garners most of the attention - as well as the largest audience in motorsports - the enormous 480-acre motorsports complex boasts the most diverse schedule of racing on the globe, thus earning it the title of "World Center of Racing." In addition to eight major weekends of racing activity, rarely a week goes by that the Speedway grounds are not used for events that include car club racing, motorcycles, civic and social gatherings, and car shows.
Daytona International Speedway is seeking certified Fire Rescue professionals that will interact with our guests and professional racing team participants during racing events.

Essential Functions:
• Perform Fire and EMS response functions. Shifts range from 6-16 hours depending on event.
• Practice and maintain professional work ethic and appearance.

Required Certifications:
• Current State of Florida Fire I & II (Minimum Standards)
• Current State of Florida EMT Basic or Paramedic Certificate (National Registry will not be accepted)
• Current BLS CPR card (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
• Current ACLS card (Paramedics) (ASHI, American Red Cross and American Heart accepted)
• EVOC or CEVO certificate
• PALS or PEPP cert preferred, but not required (Paramedics)

Qualifications/Requirements:
• High School Grad/GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• Must successfully pass a driving record check.
• Must provide proof of active affiliation with a Florida Public Safety Agency.
• Must attend mandatory annual training.
• Must successfully pass BLS or ALS protocol test as required by Emergency Services Medical Director
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Strong communication skills including written reports.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Positive attitude!

This is a temporary seasonal, event based position. Shifts and hours will vary based on our event needs.  FF/EMT $12/hr; FF/PM $14/hr.  You need not reapply if you have worked for the Emergency Services Department in 2013.

Preferred candidates will have at least three years of field experience in Fire and/or EMS.
