IT Security Analyst - International Speedway Corporation (Daytona Beach, Fl)

Job Summary

Experienced analyst role within the Information Security Department focusing on utilizing information security best practices for implementation of efficient and strong security and compliance controls.

The Security Analyst is responsible to the Sr Director of Information Security & Compliance for various tasks that provide business process leadership around ISC’s Security Practice.  This includes establishing business requirements for provisioning and deprovisioning of accounts as well as the administration of such accounts.  The selected candidate is expected to be experienced in Systems/Network Administration Practices and Role Based Access Control definition and implementation.  The candidate is expected to be able to manage projects and interface with a variety of teams throughout the organization. 

Principal Responsibilities

  • POLICY AND PROCEDURESImplement the organization's information security policies and procedures.

    Competencies
     

    Technical Skillsets

  • Competent with administration/provisioning and deprovisioning practices for applications including but not limited to Active Directory/LDAP

  • Competent in understanding, troubleshooting, and applying NTFS and NFS permissions to files and folders

  • Preferably skilled in using powershell to help automate repeatable tasks.  Specifically in ActiveDirectory and also for Exchange

  • Competent with Application and Infrastructure documentation

  • Competent with data mapping and data analytics

  • Capable of creating role based access definitions and implementing them throughout the organization

  • Capable of assisting with business process re-engineering to create efficiencies and reduce redundancies

  • Capable of preparing reports and papers on technical issues

    Experience

     

    Requires 2 years of experience with Information technology in a large enterprise environment.  The candidate should have previous experience as a systems or network administrator.  Security experience is preferred but not required but the candidate should understand general security best practices.  Project management experience is a plus.

     

    Education

    Requires a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Certification Requirements

    One of two industry recognized certification credentials preferred but not required:  Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISA).

Senior Director of Business Applications - International Speedway Corporation (Daytona Beach, Fl)

Job Summary

The Senior Director of Business Applications is responsible for providing strategic direction for the design, development, execution, and leadership of all aspects of Business Applications for the company. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer, the Senior Director of Business Applications will be responsible for application development, maintenance and support of all consumer technology. The application team has responsibility for the 24/7 delivery of all end-user services to all business units and business locations throughout ISC. The successful candidate will be charged with the continued advancement of these systems across the organization.

Principal Responsibilities

The Sr. Director of Business Applications will be the primary executor of business application strategy for ISC. Key areas of focus will be consumer applications such as ticketing, retail merchandise, food & beverage, CRM, campaign management and overall consumer data strategy.

  1. This executive role will champion change throughout the technology organization as well as the corporation as a whole, providing visible improvements and tangible returns on investments. This position requires a smart, assertive, charismatic, energetic and results-driven leader who has the ability to succeed in a results-focused organization. The successful candidate possesses strong management and leadership skills combined with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively across all organizations within the company. 

  2. The Senior Director of Business Applications must excel at leading teams responsible for architecting, designing, building and operating ISC’s business applications. The leader must challenge the status quo to continually evolve technology team members, supported technologies and services to drive operating efficiency, and enable the business process.

  3. Lead business application directors to establish and support IT goals, products and services especially in areas of application development lifecycle: planning, requirements, specification, timeline, estimations, resource allocation, tracking, milestones, full software development lifecycle and timely delivery of products.

  4. Lead the ongoing effort to evolve company IS best practices, application development standards, service level agreements, and other standards for tools, processes and qualification and training of technical staff.

  5. Review and recommend major capital expenditures to ensure the proper application of technology to support the company’s business needs, consistent with the short and long term strategic plans. Manage team and departmental budgets. Create and manage operating and capital budgets, work with business managers to estimate cost, benefits and ROI.

    Required Skills and Qualifications:

     

  1. The successful candidate must have substantial, proven experience demonstrating excellent leadership, communication, and management skills and have significant management experience leading a diverse team of external developers and internal staff. They will enjoy working with a customer-focused approach, a strong sense of urgency, a bias towards simplicity, practicality, and an aversion to complexity. The right candidate is an entrepreneurial executive who is an outstanding executor who excels in solving technology problems and delivering solutions on time and on budget.

  2. Minimum 8 years managing as a IT leader, at least 4 years in a senior level technical role, mentoring, motivating and growing a mature and goal-driven delivery team; must have strong history of developing people, both technically and individually.

  3. Demonstrated expertise in all traditional application areas, including: architecture, development, maintenance, quality assurance, and testing.

  4. Proven success serving as a strong change agent and leader, with a track record of elevating IT at the most senior levels in an organization and partnering as a trusted advisor to the business.

  5. Demonstrated experience translating and presenting highly technical solutions to business leaders to gain understanding and conceptualize business value.  

  6. Extensive knowledge of IT governance, operations, security practices, and audit compliance.

  7. In depth knowledge and demonstrated experience developing web and mobility applications.

  8. Proven ability to proactively communicate status (positive or negative) and identify risks.

  9. Strong project management skillset to lead complex projects with enterprise-wide impact on revenue and expenses.

  10. Vendor and consulting management experience. Experience in evaluating and selecting sourcing alternatives.

  11. The candidate will have strong oral and written communication skills, negotiation, marketing and problem-solving abilities.

    Education and/or Experience:

     

  1. A Bachelor’s Degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience

  2. Minimum of six (6) years Business Application support role experience

  3. Minimum of four (4) years management experience, experience managing teams and projects

Information Systems: Technical Support/Help Desk
Information Services Team - Talladega Superspeedway (Talladega, AL)

Position Summary
The Information Services Team is an important part of the Talladega Superspeedway Experience.  We are currently searching for the best talent to become a member of the Information Services department of Guest Services. As a member you will be responsible for bringing our guest an unforgettable racing experience here at the biggest and baddest track in NASCAR!

Responsibilities of the Information Lead:

  • Supervise the Text Message and Lost and Found systems during assigned shift

  • Assist with the Fan Information Hotline

  • Have a strong understanding of the Talladega Superspeedway facility layout to provide guests with directions, facility services, amenities, etc.

  • Serves as an information specialist and knowledgeable about each event in order to respond appropriately to guest comments, questions, and requests in a prompt, courteous and professional manner

  • Handle a variety of customer inquiries  in a professional manner including but not limited to seating/ticket issues

  • Look for opportunities to enhance the guest experience

  • All other duties assigned by Info Services Supervisor and TSS Management

Qualifications:

  • Must be very computer literate

  • Must be friendly, enthusiastic, and personable

  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to memorize layout of Talladega Superspeedway in order to answer guests general questions (seating sections, facility services, amenities, etc.)

  • Ability to work in a faced paced & high stress environment

  • Ability to work on a computer for an extended amount of time (12 Hours)

  • Ability to work with others and take direction


Reporting Relationships:
The Information Team will be under the close supervision of the Manager of Guest Services for Talladega Superspeedway with some additional responsibilities assigned by the Director of Guest Services/Director of Ticketing.

Dates/Hours Needed:

This Information Services position is ONLY a seasonal/temporary event based position. Main events run May and October with possible smaller events throughout the year. Shift length: 12 hours and pays $10.00 an hour.
