Description

Auto Club Speedway seeks a creative, high-energy, self-motivated individual with a strong work-ethic to sell group tickets via telemarketing and face-to-face interaction. This position will be required to service existing accounts, prospect potential clients, create new group programs, perform basic office functions, attain ticket goals of the department each year, and any other duties as required.

Director, Corporate Sales - Darlington Raceway (Darlington, SC)

General Overview

The Director, Corporate Sales will be responsible for planning and directing corporate development initiatives for Darlington Raceway, the home of the Official Throwback Race Weekend of NASCAR. This includes establishing business relationships with outside organizations in efforts to generate new partnerships and achieve and/or exceed corporate sales objectives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Individual is responsible for coordinating all corporate sales partnerships to ensure sponsor revenue growth

  • Through strategic prospecting, identify and research potential marketing partners and secure renewal agreements with existing partners

  • Negotiate and finalize sponsorship agreements that maximize revenue and marketing awareness for Darlington Raceway and work with ISC legal throughout the entire contract process

  • Oversee the selling of all corporate suites, billboards, and track property signage

  • Coordinate all at-track corporate hospitality

  • In collaboration with the track ticket office, design strategic fulfillment plans that drive ticket sales and corporate spending

  • Engage marketing partners to develop activation plans which help them reach their goals while enhancing Darlington Raceway’s brand

  • Create new sales collateral and/or modify existing collateral as required

  • Serve as primary contact with ISC’s Partnership Sales and Marketing department

  • Assist in managing the department budget

  • Coordinate the layout of the display area for race weekend

  • Oversee the development and production of all track property signage

  • Serve as the business unit point of contact for all track rentals

  • Serve as the track liaison for Americrown and all other vendors associated with the track

JOB SUMMARY

The Sales Account Executive is responsible primarily for generating new/renewed revenue, managing existing Daytona International Speedway accounts as well as actively prospecting for future revenue opportunities.  This sales executive must be highly motivated, goal oriented, self-starter, demonstrated sales experience and contribute to the continuous success of the sales team.  This role will involve a high volume of weekly cold calling, prospecting, meeting with clients, negotiating and closing revenue opportunities.

                            

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Acquire new clients, grow revenue from existing clients and strengthen customer relationships

  • Prospect, research, and close suite/hospitality and corporate partnership sales through cold-calling, setting in-person meetings, and continually networking throughout central Florida and within the motorsports entertainment community

  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly/monthly corporate revenue and prospecting goals

Marketing Coordinator - Daytona International Speedway (Daytona Beach, FL)

The Marketing Coordinator is a key role within the Daytona International Speedway (DIS) Marketing Department. The coordinator will assist on execution of digital marketing on the DIS website, social media channels, email and through the mobile app. The Marketing Coordinator will be entrenched in the event time responsibilities and lead several important fan initiatives including the DAYTONA Rewards program and autograph session logistics. The Marketing Coordinator will also work closely with the operations department on critical event schedules including pace car and grand marshal car movement as well as the comprehensive event weekend schedule. The Marketing Coordinator should be marketing generalist ready to go above and beyond what is asked to help support the entire team.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Director and Digital Marketing Manager to execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to accomplish Daytona’s objectives of ticket sales, engagement and platform growth.

  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with content plan execution on DIS digital platforms, including the DIS website, social media, and mobile app.

  • Assist the Digital Marketing Manager on executing social media strategy for Daytona International Speedway to engage fans and drive sales.  

  • Research the market for latest innovative trends and brainstorm creative growth strategies.

  • Work closely with the Digital Marketing Director to develop and execute paid digital campaign strategy

  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager and Strategic Communications Manager with the development of email campaigns.

  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with data for dashboards for digital marketing efforts.

  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager and Consumer Marketing team with graphic and motion content for digital channels.

  • Provide assistance to all marketing team members as needed.

 

Event Responsibilities

  • Oversee logistics and execution of the DAYTONA Rewards (fan rewards) program.

  • Manage logistics and coordinate with operations department for autograph session execution.

  • Develop pace car and grand marshal car schedule and manage movements of cars during event day.

  • Coordinate with Event Marketing Director to develop and maintain comprehensive event schedule.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Four year college degree from an accredited program; Emphasis in marketing or communications

  • Marketing experience, especially agency or sports property experience, is a plus

  • Experience with coding in HTML preferred

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines

  • Proficient in Adobe suite of products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver). Experience in graphic design and video editing is a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY:

General Description:

Under the guidance of the Group Sales Manager, Seasonal Sales Associates are responsible for increasing attendance and incremental revenue through outside sales efforts for all Kansas Speedway motorsports events.  Seasonal Sales Associates will assist with managing and growing the organization’s group ticket base and cultivate relationships with group leaders. Seasonal Sales Associates will also be responsible for attending lead generation events throughout the community as needed (i.e., chamber events, ticket promotion events, trade shows, etc.) and/or special events held on Kansas Speedway property (i.e. – Bikers for Babies, Treads and Threads, American Royal BBQ, etc.). The Seasonal Sales Associate position is a seasonal/temporary, part-time role and involves event weekend and occasional extended weekday hours as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for sales of  Season Tickets, Single Day Tickets and Group Packages to all race events at Kansas Speedway by use of an extensive cold calling effort  
  • Call current and past customers and cold call to new prospects creating new sales
  • Assist with the creation and development of sales and promotional materials related to ticket sales and consumer efforts
  • Enter ticket sales into FanTracker software for Marketing and Group Sales clients
  • Provide a high level of service to all accounts
  • Successfully contact, meet and sell key local and regional corporate businesses, organizations and associations.

Summary

 

The Vice President of Sales at Michigan International Speedway is responsible for all aspects of revenue generation for the facility and reports directly to the president. This person must be an energetic strategically-minded individual who can inspire others and communicate a vision of success that drives revenue and maximizes the guest experience.  This role must also collaborate with the Director of Accounting and the Vice President of Operations to identify overall strategy for the organization.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, implement and guide vision and strategy surrounding all aspects of ticket and corporate sales.

  • Lead the sales team in the selling of full menu corporate partnership assets, including but not limited to sponsorships, displays, signage, print and electronic assets and corporate hospitality for all MIS promoted events.

  • Lead sales team in identifying local strategic retail partners that can elevate and enhance the visibility of events held at the track each year.

  • Participate in all aspects of marketing and sales for Michigan International Speedway including developing, planning, and executing comprehensive public relations, advertising, promotions and sales plan aimed at the renewal of existing business, procurement of new business and the development of new revenue streams.

  • Assist the president with long-range objectives of the facility.  Develop partnerships and positioning programs aimed at increasing individual and corporate sales opportunities.

  • Guide and direct Michigan International Speedway’s capital strategy as it relates to ticket and corporate sales.

Essential Job Functions

  • Manage the overall sales process for tickets and corporate sales.

  • Participate in the implementation of branding strategies designed for the integration into all areas of marketing with the goals of elevating events and brand equity.

This position has supervisory responsibility for all aspects of revenue generation for the facility including but not limited to corporate and ticket sales.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sport Management, Marketing or related field a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior-level sales management with ability to motivate team.

  • Proven success in leading a ticketing sales organization in the sports industry and meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  • Creates new markets for season ticket sales, consumer tickets sales, and tours through industry research, cold/warm calls, outside sales meetings, and networking lead generation
  • Develops a list of prospects from resource materials and company records
  • Maintains existing customer accounts and develops new customer accounts
  • Creates opportunities to quote package pricing and follows up with customer requirements to ensure the ticket package fits their needs
  • Process orders and invoices using FanTracker ticket software
  • Establishes professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel
  • Submits weekly activity call reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer relationships
  • Follows up with non-renewals and lapsed customers with sale options
  • Sets and maintains a weekly ticket sales goal
  • Post event evaluation of overall customer’s experience and renewal follow up
  • Work on consumer outbound call campaigns when needed to increase overall ticket sales
  • Maintain CRM records for consumer accounts, group customers and prospects
  • Support Raceway staff during event weekends as needed

  • Courtesy and diplomacy with internal and external customers;

  • Attendance and punctuality;

  • Meeting deadlines;

  • Attention to detail.

Qualifications   

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing field or 2 years related experience in sales
  • Effective communication, organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Professional in appearance and communication (written – verbal – presentation)
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Contagious and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work evenings, and weekends as scheduled.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Outlook

Account Executive, Ticket Sales - Phoenix International Raceway (Avondale, AZ)

Position Purpose

Ticket Sales Account Executives are responsible for increasing attendance and incremental revenue through outbound consumer sales efforts for all Phoenix Raceway’s motorsports events. Ticket Sales Account Executives will manage and grow the organization’s consumer ticket base and cultivate relationships with Phoenix Raceway fans.  Ticket Sales Account Executive will also be responsible for attending lead generation events throughout the community as needed (i.e., chamber events, ticket promotion events, trade shows, etc.). The Ticket Sales Account Executive position is a full-time role involving event weekend and occasional extended weekday hours as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

None.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

  • Take a leadership role in our outbound ticket sales program by maintaining a minimum of 60 calls per day
