The prospective candidate will have 3-5 years in a management level positions at a high-volume sports and entertainment venue, large resort property, or high-volume convention center.  This position involves a high level of interaction with guests, culinary staff and management requiring a strong business sense and professional communication skills.  Builds strong relationships and develops strategies with key partners that will ensure success and support our initiatives and product development efforts to enhance the guest experience. Work in conjunction with culinary and leadership to design and execute high quality presentations, exceed hospitality expectations, and increase profit margin.  This person must be highly skilled at performing financial analysis, event planning, and troubleshooting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position involves a high level of interaction with guests as well as operational departments. Must be a detail-oriented team player with:

  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously and staff of up to 200
  • Knowledge and execution of contract policies and procedures
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; must exemplify professional etiquette
  • Excellent one-to-one customer interaction skills; ability to establish and maintain accounts
  • Ability to manage in a diverse environment with focus on client and customer service
  • High performance standards with extreme positive enthusiasm 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Caterease
  • Position will require staffing and training hourly employees including complete hiring process
  • Responsible for the recruitment and training of local non-profit organizations to assist with operation
  • Align the company and customer goals and strategy to develop consumer programs that maximize volume
  • Establish consistent programs that develop a customer centric business relationship resulting in mutually beneficial activity and growth
  • Ensure proper planning and execution for events
  • Ability to communicate on various levels to include management, support staff, and clients

Qualifications/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degress in hospitality, culinary, or business field required
  • A minimum of (3) five years of food and beverage operations experience in a high volume sports and entertainment, large resort, or convention center
  • Strong customer service skills, computer literacy (MS Office, Caterease preferred)
  • Ability to lead effectively in a diverse, variable event-driven schedule, and fast-paced environments
  • Must work event-based hours including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

Concessions Manager - Americrown Services Corporation (Kansas City, KS)

Summary:  Must have 3-5 years of experience in prior sports and entertainment venue setting.  Concessions Manager is responsible for the overall operation of a concession facility. This includes (but is not limited to) staffing, ordering, scheduling, training, setup, execution, and post-event reconciliation/analysis.  Will partner with Directors, Executive Chef, and venue leadership to design and execute high quality presentations and exceed fan expectations while maximizing revenue, minimizing expenses, and improving the concessions experience.  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong supervisory, leadership, and communication skills

  • Supervise up to 2000 employees and volunteers

  • Direct reports may include up to 5 full-time employees

  • Set and manage budgets up to $5MM per event

  • Recruit and train hourly staff, supervisors, and non-profit volunteer groups

  • Analyze and optimize concessions operation for throughput

  • Understand how to open and close inventory based sales

  • Set goals and map the path to achieving those goals

  • Manage payroll to keep labor below budgeted amount for all events

  • Assess inventory needs and place orders with all suppliers

  • Manage waste and arrange to receive credits where applicable with suppliers

  • Maintain equipment in good working order

  • Ability to drive consistency & strategic and innovative initiatives

  • Partner with health department, fire marshal, and other regulatory commissions

  • Compliance with standardized inventory control procedures

  • Ensure proper planning and execution for concessions events

  • Create and enforce best practices throughout operation

  • Work with corporate director of concessions on large scale projects

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Respond to guest feedback in a timely manner

  • Travel to support facilities outside of primary location

  • Be willing to help other departments with their needs

Qualifications/Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in high volume concessions environment

  • Strong working knowledge of food production operations

  • Ability to motivate employees and lead large groups with diverse backgrounds

  • Excellent leadership, time management, and customer service skills

  • Proficient in MS Office programs including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Director of Accounting - Americrown Service Corporation (Daytona Beach, FL)

SUMMARY:  The Director of Accounting for Americrown Service Corporation is primarily responsible for preparation, review and communication of the business unit’s financial statements and controls, as well as, participating in the development and execution of the business unit’s strategic initiatives.  This position is also responsible for cash operations at events.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Prepare, review and ensure timely and accurate financial statements and supporting schedules, documentation and reconciliations required for monthly/quarterly/yearly close. 

  2. Ensure compliance with external reporting standards (GAAP) and internal policies and procedures, including documentation, review and testing of Sarbanes-Oxley 404 controls.

  3. Responsible for financial planning including coordination, preparation, and review of monthly forecasts and annual budgets, with business unit president, business unit vice president, and department leaders, utilizing all available systems and personnel resources.  Provide financial leadership and guidance to department leaders to assist in developing and preparing financial plans.

  4. Effectively communicate and report results of operations, financial forecasts and operating plans to business unit president, business unit vice president, and corporate finance, including discussion of variance analysis and cause of change schedules.

  5. Prepare financial analysis of business unit strategic initiatives, including calculating and presenting return analysis for capital requests and measuring performance toward operating objectives.

  6. Responsible for cash operations during significant events.  Direct reports include the cash operations team to manage the distribution of cash to appropriate personnel, safely and securely collecting cash throughout the event, supervising the counting and recording of cash, and arranging for deposits.  This position must ensure controls are in place to minimize risk of loss and maintain a high level of security around the cash operations function.

  7. Preparation and timely filing of applicable tax responsibilities, including sales tax, tangible and intangible personal property tax.

  8. Assist in creating, submitting, and executing the strategic plan for Americrown Service Corporation.   Embrace a culture of strategic and innovative initiatives in alignment with ISC, tracks and Americrown’s overall mission, vision, and values.

  9. Additional responsibilities may be added to support business unit president and business unit vice president as appropriate.

  10. Some event travel may be required.


    Manage and lead the Accounting department and Cash Operations department, including up to 5 direct reports, to include the Accounting Manager, Financial Analyst and Event Accounting Managers.  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.



  1. Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited university with at least five to ten years related experience.  Must demonstrate a clear understanding and application of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). 

  2. Supervisory experience is required and experience with publicly traded companies is a plus. 

  3. Financial management experience in a high volume sports and entertainment, large hotel or convention center is preferred;

  4. Proficient computer skills to include various internal programs, Microsoft Office programs, email and internet.  Experience with computerized accounting systems required.  Experience with Peoplesoft Financials is a plus. 


Certified Public Accountant (C.P.A.) and/or Certified Management Accountant (C.M.A.), preferred
