Americrown is a subsidiary of International Speedway Corporation (ISC) and operates at 11 of ISC’s NASCAR sanctioned speedways providing catering and concessions to corporate sponsors and fans alike.

Duties:

·         Help Attract, Hire and Maintain Top Talent and Non-Profit Organizations for suites and concessions stands at Daytona International Speedway in line with the Stadium’s Redesign.

·         Cold calling

·         Placing advertisements

·         Evaluate resumes

·         Host job fairs/interview candidates

·         Process application and contracts

·         Effectively utilized ABI Mastermind software for scheduling and timekeeping

Job Description Overview

The dishwasher role is a very important part in day to day execution in the kitchen. Their main role is to keep and maintain the kitchen as well as the equipment.  Dishwashers may perform smaller food prep tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Hot Food Leads are a vital role to our culinary operation at Daytona International Speedway.  Food Leads are responsible for leading a team of food prep cooks in prepping all hot and cold food for event day catering and other parties  leading up to the events.

  • Meet with Executive Chef for pre shift meeting before beginning production each day
  • Meeting with a team of 4-12 food prep cooks daily during prep days leading up to the event to go over all hot food production for each day

Summary

Manager of Concession Services is responsible for the overall operation of a concession facility. Americrown Service Corporation is looking to hire suite attendants, food runners and experienced bartenders.

Americrown is a wholly owned subsidiary of International Speedway Corporation (ISC) and caters countrywide at 11 of ISC’s 12 NASCAR sanction tracks. We like to think of ourselves as a Pit Crew, but instead of changing tires on race cars, we are fueling Daytona International Speedway’s corporate guests and VIP fans.

P – Physical and Other Requirements

Attendants, Runners and Bartenders should be able to stand for long periods of time (in excess of 8 hours). Applicants should also be able to work in changing weather conditions. And, most importantly have a positive attitude.

I - Interview and Application

We will host a Job Fair June1st thru 5th 9am till 4pm, at our offices located at 525 Fentress Blvd. Daytona Beach, FL 32114, make sure to bring employment eligibility documents i.e. state issued picture id/driver's license and social security card or birth certificate.

T - Training

New Pit Crew members will attend an orientation prior to their first work day.

C - Compensation

Every Catering Pit Crew member, no matter position, starts at $8.50/hr. Gratuities are at our client’s discretion; most often given for service that goes above and beyond expectation and should not be expected.

R - Recruitment

The number of people we will be able to hire depends on three things: event attendance, corporate sales, and how many former Pit Crew members return.

E - Event Schedule

If hired, you will work at least one event day, Sunday, July 5th, after that you will remain on call for future events.

W- Work Wear

You will have to provide your own uniform. Attendants and Bartenders are required to wear a long sleeved white oxford shirt, black slacks, black belt, black socks and black shoes. Runners are required to wear black slacks, black belt, black socks and black shoes.
