Account Executive - Sales - Auto Club Speedway (Fontana, CA)

Description

Auto Club Speedway seeks a creative, high-energy, self-motivated individual with a strong work-ethic to sell group tickets via telemarketing and face-to-face interaction. This position will be required to service existing accounts, prospect potential clients, create new group programs, perform basic office functions, attain ticket goals of the department each year, and any other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to sell tickets and sponsorships
  • Ability to be creative and generate innovative sales programs
  • Ability to handle a large volume of cold calling and prospecting 
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 
  • Ability to develop presentations for public speaking events
  • Ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills 
  • Capable of working well in a team-oriented environment 
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of time management, attention to detail and presentation skills 
  • Hardworking, dependable and self-motivated 
  • Easily takes direction from others and embraces a team culture
  • Computer knowledge required (Microsoft Office applications, Internet, etc.)

 Duties:

  • Use telemarketing and face-to-face communication as tools to sell season and group tickets to individuals, companies and non-profit organizations
  • Manage and maintain current client accounts, while upholding a high level of customer service 
  • Establish professional relationships to create repeat business 
  • Attend out-of-office functions and networking events, promoting ticket packages and the track 
  • Create and develop new marketing concepts to generate revenue streams 
  • Race day duties to include but are not limited to: client interaction, networking and generation of new ticket sales and sponsorship 
  • Event nature of employment may require some weekend and evening work hours 
  • Other duties as required

Essential Requirements:

  • College graduate (4) year degree
  • Previous sales experience preferred
