Auto Club Speedway is a multi-use facility that hosts two major weekends of motorsport events annually.  The Auto Club Speedway Ticket Department is seeking hard working, dedicated individual for a full time employment opening.  We are looking for someone who wants to get their foot in the door in the fun, fast paced environment of the sports entertainment industry.

Responsibilities:

• Sell and renew ticket packages, advanced race tickets, fan hospitality and additional event activities to customers
• Assist in fulfillment of event ticket orders 
• Professionally and politely handle fan/customer inquires with regards to Auto Club Speedway policies and procedures 
• Provide operational and event support in Will Call and Box Office during event weekends 
• Make outbound sales calls as needed 
• Assist with offsite ticket sales/promotions when needed
   

Requirements:

• General education background – equivalent to a High School education, some college preferred
• Strong customer service skills

JOB SUMMARY

Develop relationships with marketing partners and work diligently to ensure contract fulfillment and overall satisfaction regarding their marketing/hospitality relationship with Auto Club Speedway. Assist Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing with overall strategy/goals for the department as well as new growth opportunities. Responsible for successfully and positively representing Auto Club Speedway at all times and performing job in compliance with the philosophy, policies, goals, and budget of Auto Club Speedway.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Account Management/Event Responsibilities:

• Develop/enhance relationships with an assigned list of hospitality clientele and work diligently to ensure accounts are very satisfied with their partnership package
• Selling of all VIP Hospitality programs (ie. Terrace Suites, Skyboxes and Chalet Village)
• Development of the Fan Zone Display area – sell interactive displays and marketing activation programs
• Brainstorm and identify new methods to increase individual hospitality sales programs 
• Work with corporate legal to coordinate the hospitality contract process
• Understand up sell opportunities and communicate effectively to clients
• Oversee fulfillment of hospitality partner credentials for all events 
•  Effectively monitor client's satisfaction and insure fulfillment of all contractual benefits 
• Work with PR and Special Events Team to coordinate promotional activities during event days that include Auto Club Speedway partners
• Assist Display Manager on set-up during all race weekends
   

Department Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing in setting a master timeline and race week minute-by-minute
• Assist Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing in developing revenue growth opportunities 
• Assist Sr. Director of Sales and Marketing with developing and tracking department goals
• Institute a communication strategy to stay top of mind with our clients (ie: newsletter, email blast, etc.)
• Help manage the inventory database and insure that it is up-to-date 
• Attend weekly department meeting
• Attend all pre-event planning update meetings that include partnership related issues
• Other duties as required
   

Sales/Consumer Marketing Responsibilities:

• Brainstorm new consumer marketing initiatives for partners
• Brainstorm, assist in the preparation of proposals for sponsorship opportunities in open categories

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Professional: Minimum of 3-5 years related marketing experience, related college degree strongly preferred. Windows-based computer hardware and software experience preferred.

Personal: Project a positive image to internal (employees) and external (fans, vendor, other sports professionals, community members) customers, communicate effectively and professionally at all times, comfort and experience with public speaking, strong leadership skills, exercise excellent managerial judgment, visionary thinker , ability to perform multiple tasks at one time, clean and neat at all times, team builder and team worker.
