Sales & Marketing: Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Account Executive - Darlington Raceway (Darlington, SC)








Seeking a creative, high energy, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic to sell corporate sponsorships, group tickets, and hospitality offerings via telemarketing and face-to-face interaction.  The position will be required to service existing accounts, prospect potential clients, create new group programs, perform basic office functions, attain ticket and hospitality goals annually, and any other duties, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong desire to sell corporate sponsorships, tickets, and hospitality
  • Ability to be creative and generate innovative sales programs
  • Ability to handle a large volume of cold calling and prospecting
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and have excellent organizational skills
  • Capable of working well in a team-oriented environment
  • Must demonstrate a high degree of time management, initiative, attention to detail and presentation skills
  • Hardworking, dependable and self-motivated
  • Easily takes direction from others
  • Computer knowledge (basic Microsoft Office applications)

Duties:

  • Use telemarketing and face-to-face communication as tools to sell a variety of offerings, including corporate sponsorships, tickets, and hospitality, to individuals, companies and non-profit organizations
  • Manage and maintain current client accounts, while upholding a high level of customer service
  • Establish sustainable professional relationships to create repeat and referred business
  • Attend out-of-office functions and networking events, outside of the scope of the normal work day, in order to grow and promote offerings
  • Create and develop new marketing concepts to generate revenue streams for our NASCAR event and throughout the year
  • Race day duties to include, but are not limited to: client execution, networking, and industry-leading customer service
  • Event nature of employment will require some weekend and evening work hours, above and beyond the normal work week
  • Other duties, as required

Essential Requirements:

  • College graduate
  • Previous sales experience
