Sales & Marketing: Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Group Sales Executive - Michigan International Speedway (Brooklyn, MI)







Qualifications:

  • 4 year College degree – Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferably in sports management, business and/or marketing and communications
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of (and / or) experience working in sports at the professional or collegiate level
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, publishing and database programs within a Windows environment
  • Valid drivers license                                                           

Duties:

  • Generate new group sales revenue through prospecting, cold calling and  in-person appointments
  • Responsible for the growth of existing group relationships in order for client to maximize spend and generate repeat business
  • Follow-up with all customers after the event to ensure satisfaction
  • Provide superior customer service
  • Successfully complete 50 outbound phone calls a day
  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals
  • Work within Corporate Partnership department to ensure all department standards are met
  • Attend  community events to promote group opportunities at MIS
  • Maintain proper records within CRM
  • Other projects as assigned
