Sales & Marketing: Corporate Sponsorship Sales
Corporate Partnerships Executive - Michigan International Speedway (Brooklyn, MI)

Qualifications:

  • 4 year College degree – Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferably in sports management, business and/or marketing and communications
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills 
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years of corporate sales, preferably in sports sponsorship sales 
  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation and database programs within a Windows environment
  • Valid drivers license

Responsibilities:

  • Use face-to-face communication and “cold calling” to develop new corporate hospitality and sponsorship partners.
  • Participate in strategic regional sales initiatives.
  • Assist with the creation, development and implementation of new marketing concepts designed to
    generate revenue streams.
  • Manage and maintain a select number of current partnership accounts, while upholding a high level of
    customer service.
  • Work with Americrown and other departments within Michigan International Speedway to ensure the
    fulfillment of all on-site benefits for associated partners.
  • Assist with delivery of on-site sponsor benefits.
  • Work with the communications department to develop and execute promotional activation with current
    and potential partners.
  • Fully utilize EBMS as a CRM, inventory control and forecasting tool.
  • Limited amount of travel may be required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Sales & Marketing: Consumer Product Sales
Seasonal - Group Sales Associate - Michigan International Speedway (Brooklyn, MI)

Qualifications:

  • 4 year College degree preferred – Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science preferably in sports management, business and/or marketing and communications

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills 

  • Knowledge of (and / or) experience working in sports at the professional or collegiate level

  • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, publishing and database programs within a Windows environment

  • Valid driver’s license

 

Duties:

  • Generate new group sales revenue through prospecting, cold calling and  in-person appointments

  • Responsible for the growth of existing group relationships in order for client to maximize spend and generate repeat business

  • Follow-up with all customers after the event to ensure satisfaction

  • Provide superior customer service

  • Successfully complete 75 outbound phone calls a day

  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly sales goals

  • Work within Corporate Partnership department to ensure all department standards are met

  • Attend  community events to promote group opportunities at MIS

  • Maintain proper records within CRM

  • Other projects as assigned
